It has been brought to our attention that a small number of riders are cantering on the track other than in the specified area on the Cheshire side. Apart from this being bad manners to other users it is also a welfare issue as the track is far too hard for cantering.
If you have any old standard hats which have been replaced please donate them via Marjory Higgs or New Barn Livery. A good way to avoid wasting good hats.
Congleton riders will be pleased to know that the path through ‘tractor graveyard’ has now been made safe and the hole which had appeared near the farm gate has gone. Pat and her horse, known to us as Mo, have won the Westpoint trophy which is awarded to the highest scoring pure Arab in the performance scheme for 2015. This is a great achievement and it is the second time Pat has won it as she won it in 2003 with her previous ride, Zhiwah.
